About Us

Star Aishwaryam Foundation

Our foundation will strengthen the tribal SHGS, which is scheduled to be economically blessed with vocational skills, and promote economic independence and social inclusion.

Founded in 2008 in Dindigul, our foundation aims to address socio-economic disparities by empowering women and marginalized communities. Its mission is to promote sustainable development through health, education, and financial empowerment initiatives. The foundation focuses on providing income-generating opportunities, vocational training, and skill development, particularly for poor women and Scheduled Tribe SHGs. By identifying potential entrepreneurs among rural women and farmers, it works to enhance economic prosperity. The foundation also organizes Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to foster savings, credit schemes, and entrepreneurship. Operating primarily in Dindigul, the foundation is dedicated to transforming lives by creating lasting economic opportunities.

The Leadership Training Program

The Leadership Training Program by our Foundation is aimed at identifying and nurturing potential leaders within rural communities, focusing on youth, women, and community leaders. It covers key skills such as communication, conflict resolution, team management, and public speaking, while also educating participants about local governance and how to influence policy. A notable success is Arjun, a youth leader who, after the training, mobilized his village to implement a waste management system, inspiring neighboring villages to follow suit. The program has trained over 1,000 individuals, many of whom now hold leadership roles in SHGs, panchayats, and local NGOs. By fostering grassroots leadership, the foundation is building sustainable and self-reliant communities.

AROGYA Breast Cancer Community Awareness Program

The AROGYA Breast Cancer Community Awareness Program by our foundation focuses on educating rural communities about the importance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer. Through workshops, awareness campaigns, and health screenings, the program aims to reduce stigma and encourage regular self-examination and medical check-ups. The foundation collaborates with healthcare professionals to provide accurate information and resources. Many women have been empowered to seek timely medical attention, improving early diagnosis rates. The program has reached over 8,000 women, promoting health awareness and saving lives. Ultimately, AROGYA strives to create a supportive community where women can take charge of their health and well-being.
